Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your nephew. My son was diagnosed with sAA a few years ago when he was 10. He had one round of ATG but was deemed a non-responder after nearly 6 months. He went on to have a completely successful uncomplicated bone marrow transplant using a 9/10 unrelated donor. There is hope. Your family has to learn as much as they can to be your nephew's best advocate. This forum is an incredible tool, advise them to use it.
