Howdy,
I got some great new on Friday. My doctors says my blood levels are normal. On the low side of normal but normal. I asked if I was cured and he laughed kind of. I am going to be weaned from cyclosprine.

God is Good!

Hey, great news. Keep up the good work!:)
What is "normal" anyway? The only "normal" I have ever found was on a clothes dryer.:D

Going from SAA to normal blood counts is cause for celebration. Congratulations, Suzie!

You've had your share of side effects from ATG, cyclosporine, and prednisone, so it's great to hear that it'll all be behind you soon!

Congratulations, Suzie! Technically, you're in remission rather than "cured", but remission is good. Long may it last!

Congratulations, Susie!

I think all of us on this site have learned new definitions for the word 'normal'!

Always good to hear another ATG success story, and keep up the good counts,

Gloria

You go! :D

I'm about a month behind you and I'm getting up there too. Seems like a bunch of us had ATG last summer. Gotta update my info at the bottom of the screen.

In a related question. Is there any way out of the "victory bone marrow biopsy?" Or do we just have to suck it up?

You can always refuse to undergo the biopsy, but it's important information and that's why the doctors do them. Maybe having stronger pain meds would be a better solution.
