side effects still lingering after atg?

hi, my daughter ella finished her rabbit atg four weeks ago but yesterday she came up in a rash and said her bones ache again her face hands and feet are also swollen just like when she had the serum sickness.
i took her to the local hospital last night and they gave her some piriton which seemed to calm it down and sent us home
ive given her a dose of piriton today and but shes still covered in a rash and they dont seem to concerned and said to just see how she goes
has anyone else experienced this 4wks post atg ?

Kelly, is Ella still taking prednisone?

Ken developed a rash following his first ATG. His hem/onc suggested he increase the prednisone to help control it, but we didn't want to do that because he was having so many nasty side effects to it. We saw the dermatologist for a second opinion, and he told us it was more likely caused by the prednisone! Sure enough, as soon as he tapered off it, the rash went away. Just goes to show how hard it can be to interpret cause and effect relationships.

HI kelly, My dad had his atg 1 month ago... he too felt too mch pain in joints after 3 weeks of atg.. he is still facing joint pains but no rashes as such....
