Counts not recovering on Dacogen

Hi everyone,
Bob is on his 3rd week of delay for his 3rd cycle of Dacogen. Has anyone had this happen?
His platelets are not recovering. He was at 20000 last week, and had platelet tx. this week 23000.
Anyway, Bob is interested to know if anyone has had this problem.

Kerts counts always drops after taking the first week of Dacogen and sometimes after the second week, but by the third week they are almost in normal range, and he doesn't have anything for 3 or 4 months. this time he went 4 months before they droped enough to start another series which he started his first week July 23 thru 27th. He goes back to the Dr. the 10th of Aug.for his Lab's and will start his 2nd. week in 28 days. I'll get back with you after he has the labs from this first week of treatments.

That's what Warren mentioned before. I am just surprised that the doc doesn't go ahead and let him do the third cycle.
Bob is afraid it will be like starting overafter 7 weeks off. He had a rough time in between.
