Hi, I am so glad to have found this group. One year ago I had my yearly exam. my Dr. said I should see an hemo/onc, my blood tests were abnormal. I have had an BMB, Jak2 and monthly CBC,s. In the beginning my Dr. said he felt Displasia was where my illness was going. Well, my last appointment 7/31/ 07 he said MDP was what all the tests indicated. My blood tests are slowly getting worse. He said the progression is very slow. Now I still have CBC,s monthly, he is waiting for changes i guess then he will start medication or what ever treatment he feels necessary. My health has been great until this illness showed up. I do get tired really easy, shortness of breath, and headaches. Depression is another thing I deal with. I have been doing a lot of internet surfing and have learned much about this illness. Knowing more makes me feel in control and i need this.
