I'm hitting the end of the 6 month waiting period to see if the (second) ATG is working. My numbers are better, and I haven't had a transfusion since April 1st. My hgb stays around 9, my platelets hover at 60, but I've been getting neupogen shots to keep up my white count.
I seem to have hit a plateau in the improvement. I'm wondering what is going to happen now; another round of ATG, move to transplant, or nothing?
Has anyone else hit this wall? I know I need to talk to my dr, but I like to hear a patient's opinion too.

Hi Amber,
Do you know what your ANC would be roughly without the Neupogen shots? What is your ANC on Neupogen and what's the dose of Neupogen?

My ANC will drop to 0.5 without the shot, possibly lower but they keep giving me the shot, mainly because I went back to work part time and am afraid of getting sick. The shot gets my ANC over 1.0 and my white count a little above 2.0. I'm not sure on the dosage though.
