Last week my husband tuned in to a webinar presented by the Leukemia-Lymphona Society and they reported that there is currently a "clinical trial for an oral solution of a methyltransferase inhibitor." We assume that would mean dacogen/vidaza??? But they really didn't say what drug it was. Has anyone out there heard or read of such a trial ? Not complaining, tho, I am thankful for this drug keeping me healthy, but pill form would be nice!:)

Hi kgtuck,
As far as I understand they only take "new patients" into studies to be able to examine the effects of the drug.

Here are results from a study:

Thanx so much for the information. I thought that the drug was probably Vidaza since it has been "out there" longer. It's just nice to know that more and more research is being done. Take care!
