is it possible that 15 month old baby has MDS. if W.B.C is normal but two cell lines R.B.C and Platlets are droping?

is the baby's dr thinking that is what it is? any previous type cancer treatment?

Yes doctors found no cancer in baby but they say may be its pre cancer symtoms which will later convert to leukemea. But they are not sure about mds also as its very rare in children

pre leukemia is mds. I would make sure this dr is in the field for sure.

Hello Sadi123, personally I've never heard of a baby with MDS. Might it be AA? Is this child being seen by a Pediatric Hematologist? If you don't mind me asking, did they do a bone marrow biopsy and what hospital? I'm just wondering if perhaps AAMDS.org could give you more information or guidance.
