scared of relapse

I am hoping someone can help us. My husband is 4 months post atg. His counts were 2.9 wbc, 10.2 hemoglobin, 1454 anc and 54 platelets. Last Sunday he had fever and was diagnosed with early pneumonia. He was put back on levaquin. Today his lower legs were covered with petichiai. We are waiting for blood tests to confirm low platelets. We are very scared.

I don't know much about AA, but I do know that certain infections, like pneumonia can have a pretty negative impact on blood counts, especially RBC and platelets. if it is viral, WBC will take a hit as well.

Ok blood counts at hospital: wbc 2.5, hemoglobin 9.0 and platelets 54.... The petechiae cause unknown. I hop we chalk this up to illness. Oh his creatinine was elevated to2.26... A big jump from 1.6 on Monday. Will see hematologist this week.
