In this newsletter, the AA&MDSIF indicates that full details and registration information for the Annual Patient and Family Conference will be available at www.aamds.org (http://www.aamds.org) on April 1. This year's conference will be held July 27-29 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia just across the river from Washington, DC. It will be followed on July 30 by Capitol Hill Day where you can meet with your members of Congress and educate them about bone marrow failure diseases.

I was thrilled to see the articles coming on the Psychological Distress of Invisible Chronic Illness. I read the article and just kept nodding my head. Yes, that's me. Yup, I struggle with that. Wow, I am not the only one who goes through that. It was encouraging and I am looking forward to learning how others deal with the same issues and fears I deal with.
