Alternative MDS treatment

Hi Vidaza stopped working for me now I'm on a hunt for alternative treatment man there is some crazy stuff out there. Has any one heard of or tried Fucoidan it is some kind of seaweed
DX RCMD 2011 Azacitidine discontinued Dec 2015 with less than 10% blasts
Transfusions now every two to three weeks:eek:

Sorry to hear vidaza stopped working for you Faye, I dont know about Fucoidan but there is a thread here about alternative treatments where maybe you will be able to find something. Please let us know what you find and how you are feeling.

I have heard of Fucoidan, sometimes called Limu juice

Sounds promising, but (as with a lot of herbal supplements), check the dosage as often the pills sold online are very low dose compared to what were used in clinical trials, and may offer placebo effect only. Good luck!
