The disease named Waldenström Macroglobulinemia (WM) is very closely related to lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. The best information about these diseases that I've seen is from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://www.lls.org) (LLS). See for example their WM and LPL fact sheet (https://www.lls.org/sites/default/files/file_assets/FS20_Waldenstrom_FactSheet.pdf).

The LLS may also be a good source in looking for other people affected by these diseases.
