There's a 2011 article about iron overload treatment in Australia here (http://www.resonancehealth.com/images/files/info-and-pubs/information-and-publications-publications/Australian%20Guidelines%20for%20the%20Assessment%20of%20Iron%20Overload%20and....pdf). The abstract can also be found here (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21615659).

The report is focused on anaemias but refers to the common treatments with deferasirox (Exjade and Jadenu), deferiprone (Ferriprox), and desferrioxamine.

If an approved medicine isn't available, you can search for Australian and New Zealand Clinical trials here (https://www.australianclinicaltrials.gov.au/anzctr_feed/form).

Exjade is available now on PBS. Just need your Doc to prescribe it.
