This year's Walk Star is Ron Duncan, a survivor of Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA), an exceptionally rare bone marrow failure disease. Ron was diagnosed in 2005 during a routine blood donation.

Leigh Clark from the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (https://aamds.org) referred Ron to Dr. Jaroslaw Maciejewskip (https://my.clevelandclinic.org/staff/4362-jaroslaw-maciejewski) at the Cleveland Clinic (https://my.clevelandclinic.org). Under the care of Dr. Maciejewski, Ron has been off all drugs since 2015 and has helped with March for Marrow since 2011.
