On Wednesday, November 1st from 4:00pm - 7:00pm EST, the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (http://www.aamds.org) will host its first Internet Radio-Thon to raise money and awareness for bone marrow diseases and AA&MDSIF.

The program will include basic information about bone marrow failure diseases and clinical trials as well interviews with patients, doctors, and Foundation President Marilyn Baker and Board Chairman Neil Horikoshi.

A special feature will be an interview with Robin Grapa and Patty Laatsch, who have just completed their cross-country hike. Their 9-month journey combined a celebration of Robin's recovery from aplastic anemia with an effort to raise awareness about bone marrow diseases and funds for the AA&MDSIF.

The Radio-Thon is just about to start.

If you have a fast Internet connection, you can listen to the show live over the Internet by going to the Internet Voices Radio (http://www.internetvoicesradio.com/) web page, clicking Daily Information (http://www.internetvoicesradio.com/page3.html) at the left, and then clicking on "Click Here to Start Stream". You may need to download audio playback software. If so, it will tell you.
