Good news, Thomas!

That's wonderful news, Thomas. Glad to hear it!

Hi Thomas - it's nice to hear you have had the same positive effects as my husband on Vidaza. I am curious about reducing the treatment down to 5 days. When was this decision made? Did it take some getting used to? I'm always looking for ways to minimize the intrusion this disease has on our lives.

Age?

Thomas, would you mind telling us a little about yourself? Your age, for instance?

Dr. List, my oncologist at Moffitt, suggested the change this past January. I just finished my 16 cycle and all is good so far. It has made my life a little easier and allows for me to have a little more freedom!

Thanks for answering my question, Thomas. It's great to hear you're doing well on only five days of vidaza.

I only wondered about your age because I'm eighty, and so many people on this forum are much younger. The disease may affect us differently at different ages, e.g., no transplants for people my age.

And thank you for your service.

Now on Cycle 72

Needed Blood Transfusion during first 3 Cycles, but not since. Specialist has been experimenting with increased time between Cycles - 5 weeks & then 6, but with Blood counts going lower.
