Yes that is like me saying Oh Yes Red Wine. Is that one or two with ice? When we very well no alcohol is to be avoided because it destroys platelet count. My doctor said one was fine if you can manage with one. I'm afraid our condition may make that more tempting.

I am interested as well. I'm pretty sure that my son's AA was caused by a virus. We got our sons' passport pictures taken in Jan and my 8 yr old has bright red lips and rosy cheeks in his picture. Then he got a virus with a month long cough that he gave to his father and brother. The other two got better, but he never did. I fear that the virus is still in there somewhere, and when we immune-suppress him it will rear it's ugly head and overwhelm him. At the same time I do believe his AA is a an auto-immune response to the virus, as it's not the first one he's had.
