Hi Sharnie, when my neuts used to hover at 0.0 to 0.1 my doctor refused to give me Neupogen too. He simply wasn't convinced that it didn't increase the blast count in predisposed people.

I only ever had 2 nasty infections which responded to antibiotics but I used to get fevers with every round of Vidaza which we ended up attributing to a drug reaction.

Are there any foods that anyone knows of that raise platelet levels? If so, can you post back. I want to see what we can do for my mother nutritionally.
