One-day MDS Family Conference in Scottsdale, December 3, 2011
 

The MDS Foundation will hold a one-day conference for MDS patients and caregivers in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 9:30am to 2:00pm.

The event is free and will include a complimentary breakfast and lunch. Registration and breakfast will be 9:30am-10:00am, followed by a quality-of-life discussion led by Sandra Kurtin, RN, from the University of Arizona Cancer Center, and then lunch with an informal patient discussion.

After lunch, patients and their families will hear from Dr. Ravi Krishnadasan, an MDS expert from the Arizona Center Center at UMC North Tucson. Dr. Krishnadasan will speak on "New Therapies and Patient Treatment Options", ending with a question and answer session.
