Friends and supporters of the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) are invited to attend the Second Annual Mia Hamm & Nomar Garciaparra Celebrity Soccer Challenge at The Home Depot Center (south of the Los Angeles Airport in Carson, CA).

This fun, exciting afternoon will let you meet other patients and families, friends, and supporters of all ages.

Cheer on Mia, Nomar, and their celebrity friends as they shoot goals and raise awareness about bone marrow failure diseases.
WHEN: Saturday, January 17, 2009
WHERE: Home Depot Center, Carson, CA
GAME TIME: 1:00 pm

TICKETS: $15 each when purchased through the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation. Orders must be postmarked by 12/31/08. Send the downloadable order form with your check or credit card information. Tickets will be sent via first class mail the week of the game. All tickets are unreserved general admission. Tickets can also be purchased at Ticketmaster.com for $20 plus fees.

Proceeds will benefit bone marrow patient and family services at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the Mia Hamm Foundation.

Ruth and I will be at the Celebrity Soccer Challenge.

Attendees will be invited to have their cheek swabbed to join the National Marrow Donor Program Registry.

If you're in Southern California, come out and support the cause!
