Very interesting!

It will be interesting to see if they switch back to asking for more BM than PBSC? It seems more places are switching to PBSC nowadays. I wonder if this will change that?

I really don't follow the latest research on transplant closely but this got me wondering how they decide where to harvest from. I would think it's easier on the donor to do blood stem cell. Seems less traumatic.

Wonder if it makes sense to transplant with BM cells first and if the graft fails, follow up with a second attempt using blood stem cells. I don't know how many transplants fail to graft. Is it a big percentage?
