Marrowforums - Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplasia Association of Canada

The Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplasia Association of Canada will be holding a patient Education Day on Saturday, September 29, 2007 in Toronto, Ontario. A program and registration form can be found on our website, www.aamac.ca.

The Education Day will focus on the bone marrow failure diseases of aplastic anemia, and myelodysplasia. We are very fortunate to have excellent speakers on bone marrow failure disease in children and adults, including directors from the two MDS Centres of Excellence in Canada: Dr. Yigal Dror and Dr. Richard Wells. There will also be presentations on the bone marrow transplantation and drug access. Patients, family members, and health care professionals will have many opportunities to network. Finally, a social is planned for after the Education Day. I hope you are able to attend.
