MPV
What does anyone know about a low MPV (in the 4's)?
With a normal platelet count? My son has had a low MPV for the past 2.5 years with fluctuating anemia, extremely high b12, hyper cellular bone marrow, and and M:E ratio of 4.9:1 which had increased from the bone marrow the time before. It seems like individually these things all mean something, but alone they may not. If I only understood this better. |

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look him up. Why do you recommend him so highly? Do you have any specific feedback on anything I wrote in the meantime? We we see a doctor currently, but they are at a really big loss for what is happening.

http://health.usnews.com/doctors/david-margolis-355775 He is considered the best person for aplastic anemia for children. Very approachable. He probably can recommend someone in your area. |
Dr. Margolis is not only one of the most knowledgable physicians when it comes to pediatric aplastic anemia, but he's also one of the friendliest.
He works with his own patients, but also regularly attends patient conferences around the country to offer explanations and advice to families. See the promo video he made for one conference. |
