Puget Sound MDS Support Group Meeting

HAVING MDS IS BAD ENOUGH, PAYING FOR IT IS ALMOST AS BAD!

Help is available if you are uninsured AND know where to look. :) Help is also available if you are Medicare part D eligible or already covered and unhappy with your present plan or just want to understand it better.

It’s important to know that any changes from an existing Medicare D policy can only be made during the window from November 15th through December 31st each year.

This meeting will give Medicare eligible patients the information about 2007 changes to the program and ways to make changes, if desired.

It will also provide information about getting help from drug companies, charitable and private organizations, and federal and state aid.

Ola Williams-Oakes of Asuris, the Medicare arm of Regence Blue Shield will be explaining the new changes and informing you of your rights. Steve Kessler, CFP, will be presenting the results of his research into available resources outside of Medicare and also discuss Medicare eligibility through the disability option.

Note: Although Asuris is presenting a portion of the program, the Puget Sound MDS Support Group is not endorsing Asuris or any other specific program.

Meeting Location:
Regence Blue Shield Headquarters, 1800 9th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

6:30 PM, Tuesday, December 12th
Dinner will be provided

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 04:07 PM.
