I need input re: HLA-C mismatch in donor
Hi everyone,
My son Evan is headed for transplant as ATG/Cyclosporin treatment has not worked for his sAA. Our donor is a 9/10 match with a mismatch at antigen C. Our transplant doctor is not overly concerned about this, as A, B and DRB1 all match. We are very concerned and worried to say the least and would appreciate any insight any one might be able to share. Thanks, |
Oops, nevermind.
I just exchanged emails with the transplant doctor and I was wrong. The mismatch is at a much less important allele-DQB1. Still, any input is always appreciated. Thanks, |
Does he have a donor yet? We are about to face a transplant and was wondering if we will be going through it at the same time.
How is he doing? |
