Itchy, Itchy, Itchy Vidaza?

Anyone experience itchiness from Vidaza? Is it the drug or the effect on the liver which gets taxed with removing the toxins? Sigh. Every day a new concern!

No, I never got itchy and I already had liver issues from high ferritin.

Maybe you are a little allergic? Do they premed with an antihistamine? Maybe you could take one yourself before you go for your shot.

Itching

Started Vidaza a week ago sub q. Some of the injection sites swell, turn red, and yes, they sure do itch. Bought some itch stopping cream which seems to help.

Primrose oil

Hi Rich,
Some members have used primrose oil to treat injection site irritation due to Vidaza http://www.mdsbeacon.com/news/2009/1...njection-site/
Kind regards
