Rigors at night
My husband has been having rigors (shaking) at night with no fever. He is not cold. His blood work is the same as usual (low WBC, platelets and slightly low hgb ).
He sees the doctor this week, but not the bone marrow specialist until Feb. Has anyone else experienced this? |
I did a search for rigors and there are diseases that can cause that. Maybe research it on the internet.
All the best, Sally |
I was just asking if anyone else has experience with it.
I did google it, but I also am pretty confident it is a symptom of his MDS, because he had it the day he was hospitalized and diagnosed, just wanted to know if anyone else has had this symptom and what it was (with regards to the MDS itself) may be causing it. I think I might misunderstand what this forum is for. :) |
Being of a curious nature I did a search on rigors and thought I would reply to your post. Your question to the forum - in my opinion - is exactly what the forum is for. I just thought I would share with you what I found out.
My husband did get the rigors when he was receiving Campath back in 2009 but I didn't think that would apply to your husband. All the best, Sally |
There is a thread I believe right now on the MDS foundation website message board talking about shaking at night, there are others with this symptom, you may want to check out that message board. www.mds-foundation.org
