This will be hard to understand, I don't.
I have had MDS for two years. I have been getting two units of platelets every 9 or 10 days all this time. I also get two units of blood ( hemoglobin ) every 17 or 18 days.
Two months ago I started taking 3 drops of cannibidiol a day since then there was a period of 21 days that I didn't need platelets. I am now at 28 days and still do not need platelets. I don't notice much change in the hemo. count.
I take -
Lipitor
Exjade for iron overload.
Cannibidiol is non hallucinogenic hemp oil
I am 82 years old

Thanks for posting this. There's not much information on the use of Cannibidiol for MDS. Glad your platelets are holding for you.
