Walk Information: San Antonio, TX, March 2012
The 2nd Annual San Antonio Hope, Steps & A Cure Walk and 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, March 24 in San Antonio, TX. This is the first time a 5K run is being held in conjunction with the walk. There will also be a raffle, door prizes, light refreshments, inspirational speakers, and a chance to connect with fellow patients and families.
Come to the walk/run and help raise awareness and funds for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF), which works tirelessly on behalf of families affected by a bone marrow failure diseases. You can register for the events, ask family members and friends to sponsor you, or even volunteer to help! The following day (Sunday, March 25) there will be a brunch at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio, with medical professionals invited to speak. Paid reservations are required.
