One-day Patient and Family Forum in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, September 26, 2020
 
A free one-day patient and family forum will be held in Chapel Hill, NC, on Saturday, September 26, 2020 (postponed from March 28, 2020). The forum will be hosted by the MDS Foundation. It is the last of 11 patient and family forums scheduled for 2020.

Attendees will hear from leading MDS experts. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Topics to be covered:
  • Defining MDS
  • Current Therapies, Treatment Options, Bone Marrow Transplants, and Clinical Trials
  • Patient & Caregiver Discussions
  • Psychosocial Challenges, Quality of Life, and Quick Tips for Patients and Caregivers
  • Open discussion
Presenters will include Dr. Hank Van Deventer, Dr. Brandi Reeves, Dr. Matthew Foster, Dr. Paul Armistead, and Dr. Joshua Zeidner, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
