Unrelated hla matched donor transplant vs atg+cyclosporine .
 
Diagnosed aplastic anemia 1 month back at 39 yrs age , my brother and sister are not hla matching with me . Sent for high resolution hla matching to find unrelated hla match in DATRI and other bone marrow registry .
If. I get a match which one is better unrelated matched transplant or atg + ciclisporin.
What is current treatment for 39yrs old newly diagnosed aplastic anemia otherwise healthy ?

Hi Asignh,

It is my understanding that ATG+Cyclosporine is still the first-line treatment for someone your age with no matched sibling donor.

I m in same situation as u
35 years old with aplastic anemia
Diagnosed on 30 sep 2017
Went under atg+ist+Eltrombopag(150)
Wondering how r u doing??
