I'm finding people who have the RARS -T (refractory anemia with ringsideroblasts and thrombocytosis)... My boyfriend has these variant of mds and I hope to find everyone for exchange of information about this desease. Thanks

How do you do to manage your platelets numbers without reduce your hemoglobin level???? (my boyfriend use hydrea). How much platelets do you have? and your hemo en ferrtin levels?
Do you have participate in trials?
My boyfriend is 53 y and has been diagnosed RARS-T in januari 2011.
