Hello,
I justed joined yesterday.
I was diagnosed in 2005 with MDS (RARS) age 49
My Hemaglobin was in the middle 11's.
Now soon to be 5 years latter, age 54 in July, I'm in the mid 8's Hemaglobin
I received a blood transfussion in Oct 09 Hema 8.2 than in Dec at 8.1
My lasted blood draw Iwas at 8.5
I started with Procrit 1/09 stopped in 9/09 did not help 1 shot per week.
on 10/09 started aranesp shot every two weeks lowest dosage
My doctor in going to increase my dosage on Friday 1/29/10.
I would like to chat with oyhers that have MDS and talk about alternative
Treatment.
