Easy to understand blood production doc

Just found this and thought it would be good for those learning their way around blood results.

That really is an excellent article, Chirley.

Very comprehensive. It's the first time I've seen a clear explanation of what a "left shift" means for neutrophils.

Hi Neil.

I liked the article because I am a visual learner. I struggle to understand descriptive, narrative type articles but easily understand diagrams. I liked this article because it had both.

I'm one of those women who can read maps! I also drew the plans and had three houses built from scratch without too much drama (no disagreement with builders, no last minute alterations etc).

I am de-lurking just to thank you for this too. Very helpful.

Not to be rude, but I hope this is my last post here. I have been lurking here for two weeks, while we wait for my hubby's first hematology appointment. Which was just bumped up, so it is tomorrow morning.

If I never come back, I just want to say everyone here is a hero. Your stories have touched me.

I'm not being rude either but I hope you don't need to come back. :)

If you do, I have found this Forum to be a wonderful source of information and support.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, I'm back. Took 14 months but my husband now has an official MDS dx. I suppose prognosis is good because we're on (continued) watch & wait. He is 51.

He's not a forum type, but I am, so I'm glad you all are here!
