One-day Patient Conference in Seattle, Washington, June 18, 2016
A free one-day patient conference will be held in Seattle, WA on Saturday, June 18, 2016. The conference, hosted by the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, is one of seven one-day patient conferences in 2016.
The conference is for AA, MDS, and MPN (Myeloproliferative Neoplasms) patients and their families, as well as medical professionals who care for these patients. The morning sessions will feature epidemiology, genetics, and therapies for MDS and MPN. After lunch, sessions will focus on related diseases (leukemia and aplastic anemia) and living/coping skills. Conference attendance is free. Breakfast and lunch are included. You can stay at one of the nearby hotels if you want to stay overnight.
