My brother is a 5 of 6 match and is flying to mayo in phoenix for the transp. im wondering what is the length of stay for the doner

I not a expert, but as a donor it's probably measured in hours rather than days to prep and take an aspiration of stems cells or marrow. Expert chime in.

From what I understand according to the National Marrow Donor Program, the hospital stay for a donor is usually an outpatient type thing. The donor goes in the morning and stays until late afternoon. Some hospitals plan for a one night stay just in case, but that is all. Here are some FAQ's for donors.

Hope this helps! :)
