MDS and joint pain
 

MY mother has had MDS 5q for 5 years. Not one single blood transfusion. She has gone through Revlimid. last year she started getting fevers 100 to 103.
Any way she has been getting very very bad joint pain. Swelling.
The doctor can find no reason. She does not have arthritis or gout. I have searched and search. Has any one had this issue

Hi Jay,
I don't get joint pain as much as just bone pain especially in my legs. Found what I understand it isn't uncommon with patience with MDS and/or Fibrosis.

Hope your mother feels better soon.
