Just started ATG
 

My husband started his ATG treatment 2 days ago. His numbers prior to ATG are: WBC 3.2 HGB 7.4 ANC 0.78 and PLT 42 (due to a recent transfusion). The morning after first ATG his numbers are: 3.8, 7.5, 3.48 and 16. We are a little confused as we thought ATG is supposed to cause the number to drop especially ANC and WBC as we have seen on this forum. The doctor explained that it was due to the steroid.
