Ontario, Canada

My daughter is 10 and was just diagnosed with AA. We are currently waiting to go bk in June to CHEO for another aspirate and extraction, and then proceed with treatment, I have had my hla tested, as well as my oldest son, if my son is a mtch, the doctor wants to proceed straight to a bone marrow transplant. We live in a remote town in Northeastern Ontario, I would love to talk to other parents for some support.

You should probably get in touch with Nicole, her son is about the same age as your daughter. He was diagnosed with moderate AA, failed one ATG course, and went on to do a transplant at Sick Kids in Toronto.

Also, if you are interested in obtaining additional information, I have medical articles pertaining to pediatric AA in pdf form, I can send them to you if you post your e-mail address.

If you go to the Following Link, you will find a List of Canadian Chapter Coordinators. The Ontario Chapter Coordinator, Andy May would be an excellent resource for you to contact.
