AAMAC Virtual Patient Support Group Meetings - December 2022
 

We have several virtual support groups providing an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about diseases or treatments. For many people, the support group may fill a gap between medical treatment and the need for emotional support. A person's relationship with a doctor or other medical personnel may not provide adequate emotional support, and a person's family and friends may not understand the impact of a disease or treatment. A support group among people with shared experiences can function as a bridge between medical and emotional needs.

The December meeting dates are as follows:

1. Central Canada - Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario & Quebec
   December 14, 2022 at 6PM ET
2. Atlantic Canada - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador & Prince Edward Island
   December 15, 2022 at 7PM AT
   
3. Western Canada - Alberta & British Colombia
   December 19 at 6PM PT | 7PM MT
