Hi - I finished my third round of Vidaza and both my arms, up to my shoulder hurt. The pain came on suddenly. Feels like bone pain. Never had that before. Has to be the Vidaza. Its weird to say but sometimes it is a relief to hear someone else is experiencing the same problem. Let me know if your doc tells ya anything. I dont go for another treatment till the 29th.

And Neupogen sometimes has that effect too.

Cheri, I would check with an orthopedist before assuming it is related to MDS or medications. Of course it could be, and I can't speak to that, but I had adhesive capsulitis for a while, and what you're describing sounds a lot like that.

Cheri,

Muscular and joint pain can be a side effect of Vidaza. I have some during treatment week but never severe. Do you get injections in your arms? My shots are all in my stomach.

arm muscle pain

Hi i'm currently on ciclosporin and have had exactly the pain you describe for the last six months following atg for SAA. Not done anything about it but today could not hold a knife in my hand and cut my food. If you find out anything can you post please. Many thanks and hope it gets better.
