Ozone Therapy

Hi Everyone

I have heard that Ozone/Oxygen Therapy is really great for cancer patients. Do any of you have any experience/advice on whether an MDS sufferer is able to go for Ozone/Oxygen treatment?

Thanks
Alison

Don't know, but I would love to know the answer to that too. Always wondered if it would help when I am tired and short of breath.

This is such a common misconception! Ozone is actually HARMFUL to the body!!!! It is the main component of smog. There is a big difference between the ozone in the atmosphere (classified as a pollutant), and the one in the troposphere more than 20k km away from the surface! That one makes up the ozone layer, that protects us from UV rays!

Hi Sandra

Are you saying that the one in the troposphere is a good "version" of ozone as opposed to the component of smog?

Thanks
Alison
