Hi All,
The trials with oral Vidaza are progressing. Here is a study where 73 % of the patients that not had received treatment before responded: http://jco.ascopubs.org/content/earl...2010.34.4226v1

This would be fantastic...much easier than the needles...I wonder if there will be any new info coming back, with the MDS seminar in Scotland this week-end...

Thank you for info about that conference :)! I found many interesting abstracts and will post at least one of them (about Neupogen and similar drugs).

and comparison studies of dacogen vs vidaza

Hi Leslie,
I have not seen any recent studies about oral Vidaza (azacitidine) in MDS patients. Here is one from ASH 2011 in patients with AML: https://ash.confex.com/ash/2011/webp...aper37416.html

At the same conference they reported this study about Vidaza and Dacogen (decitabine):
