Severe infection
Hi run4peach1,
Very good that your father got treatment as soon as they had got the blood and other tests and x-ray of the lungs but before they found the agent that caused the infection!
They never found the cause of my neutropenic fever but as soon as I was treated with ZINACEF (cefuroxime) in infusion I recovered.
We do hope that your father has got the best drugs and will recover!
