Yes, aren't pets the best?
It was very hard for me to not have him sleep with me. I missed it but told myself it would only be for a short time. He of course didn't understand and would sit by the door and meow and scratch at the door. I felt horrible!
I would say just don't clean the litter and don't let them rub all over your face and wash your hands and you will be fine!
