Hi Laura,
I had my bone marrow transplant at Johns Hopkins November 30, 2010 and recommend them highly. My doctor said that doing transplants on older patients isn't so much of an issue anymore. When you call for a consultation, make sure you mention that you want someone with an MDS specialty.
