Thanks Birgitta, I'm very disillusioned with doctors at this point in time. I have seen this physician before (he was the doc that referred me to the haematologist) and he was very honest and easy to talk to. He is willing to either do supportive care with transfusions, antibiotics etc or to investigate other methods of copper replacement treatment.
I'm not getting my hopes up, I will wait and see how things work out.
