Kathy I really don't know what that means but my cytogenetics came back normal on every BMB, then another doctor ordered micro assays on my blood and I was found to have a small chromosome deletion. The deletion was not on any of the normal chromosomes tested by FISH and was also hard to detect. I went on further and had specific gene testing and found a number of gene mutations, some were of no significance and some were associated with disease processes.

One gene mutation (homozygous) had only been seen once before and that was in a man with copper problems as do I.

There is so much in medicine that is unknown but it's advancing every day.
