As far as his problems tolerating Vidaza... initially, he couldn't tolerate the shots, so, he switched to IV. But, other than that, I can't say there were any specific, non-typical challenges...just a tough slog for an 80 yr old, feeling run-down for 7 months, waiting/hoping for a positive result.
Right now, though, he has a lot of spring in his step...partly due to the hemoglobin increase, and, more so due to the mental aspect of finally havingf some positive news.
