If your red count is low and therefore you tire easily, a full shift is going to be a burden. If at all possible, make sure your boss and your co-workers know that you intend to do as much as you can, but that if your body is low on oxygen you just won't have full energy.

Let them ask questions about SAA, which they won't otherwise know much about. You'll probably have to explain things that are clear to you but not to them, like that it's a bone marrow problem, that it's not catching, that you're under a specialist's care, and that it's not a mysterious disease like chronic fatique syndrome. Most of all, when you need to rest you're not being lazy!
